Globus Shopping Mall is a modern shopping centre - it is located below the Independence Square, stretching on both sides of Kreshatyk. There are three floors with countless shops, several cafes on the top level and a fast food center on the lowest floor. There are stores with men's, women's and children's fashion; bookstores, gift shops, jewellery stores etc. If you need to do some serious clothes or shoe shopping, this is the place to go - you can find brands like Esprit, Springfiled, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Ecco, Monton, BGN, Lee, Levi's or Swatch.

Metrograd stretches under ground from Lva Tolstoho square to Kreshatyk with many turns and corridors. Usually it takes two or three trips to get to know Metrograd well enough you can find your way out or get to the shop you wanted to. Metrograd is divided into several sections - clothes, lingerie, shoes, sports, gifts, household, bags, books, furniture, electronics and some more. Under the Besarabka Square there is a second underground level with a fast food center and Interntet cafe. You can shop for anything from toilet paper to an engagement ring. There are no brand clothes stores in Metrograd and what is on offer there is often highly overpriced, probably because of the high rent. On the other hand, sometimes you can get very original pieces or catch a sale. There are a few cafes, sunbed studio, photo development center, pharmacies, ticket offices and wrapping services in the complex as well.

Mandarin Plaza is behind the Bessarabka Market on Baseyna Street 4. The shops you will find here are more exclusive than in Metrograd or Globus with brands such as Mont Blanc, Baldessarini, Max Mara and similar. Mandarin Plaza has underground parking garage, severa lrestaurants on the top floor and there is a non stop Furshet supermarket in the underground level. Apart from clothes and shoes, there is the Green Gallery florist studio which makes some of the best bouqets in Kiev.

Tsum on Kreshatyk is a traditional Soviet department store that is still developing into a more modern shopping center. There are four floors with cosmetics, clothes, shoes, bags, household items, bags, coats, furs, toys, jewellery, watches etc. There are also very useful services such as watch repair, express passpot photolab, engraving service or clothes repairs and amendments.
Arena Citi
Arena City is a modern shopping mall on Bessarabka Square. It also, like Mandarin Plaza, is more of luxurious center with stores like Villeroy & Boch or Brocard.
