IRS of the administrative-territorial system of Ukraine
Purpose
Information retrieval system of the administrative-territorial system of Ukraine (IRS Atlas ATSU) is intended to provide users with data concerning the following:
- political units (PU);
- local self-government bodies (LSGB), and public administrations;
- leading officials of LSGBs and public administrations;
- resolutions of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine and regional Councils regarding changes in the administrative-territorial system of Ukraine;
- electronic map of Ukraine, scale 1:200000.
Basic functions
- on-line data bank update according to decisions made by regional government bodies and affirmed by resolutions of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine, and in compliance with enactments adopted by the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine;
- quick and user-friendly search of necessary data by any object attributes;
- preparation and analysis of manifold information and statistics in the most widely used formats - MS Word or html;
- generation of various parameterized reports (~80);
- efficient record keeping of leading officials in LSGBs and public administrations;
- storage and use of PU data and PU characteristics;
- enumeration of PU centers;
- PU changes record;
- maintenance of the electronic archive;
- cartographic display of information (view, navigation, search; location of any settlement, its square area and population on the map; change of distances, square area on the map; retrieval of data about PUs and LSGBs).
