President Victor Yushchenko held a meeting with OU-PSD faction deputies. At the meeting participants discussed agenda of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada, according to the President`s press-office.

Speaking to the deputies President stressed that they should demonstrate consolidation and solidarity in their work in the Parliament and the Government. He also suggested that those ministers, who are acting on their own in the Cabinet disregarding collective decisions of the faction were recalled from the Government.

Among problems requiring urgent attention President Yushchenko named changing the budget. According to him it crucial to increase subsistence wages levels to compensate damages people are experiencing due to high inflation rates. Therefore it also would be reasonable that faction members held consultations with ministers and that the letter would present working plans for their ministries until the end of the year with these plans were later considered during making alternations to the budget.

Besides, Victor Yushchenko expressed expectancies that on June 3 the Verkhovna Rada will swear in Constitutional Court Judges.
