Instructions for media during Kyiv Energy Summit eventsAccreditation for international media representatives for May 22 Energy Forum and 23 May Energy Security Summit is held by the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 15.00, May 21. Tel: 238-17-2, 226-22-31. (Please note that there are two separate lists: one for each event respectively). The Ukrainian House, 2 Khreshchatyk St. 9.00 Untill that time all media representatives arrive at the place for going through security checkup. 10.00 President of Ukraine is scheduled to deliver a speech, opening the Forum. The speech will be broadcast live by National Television Company of Ukraine (NTCU) and Channel 5. The video-signal shall be available for all interested through Ukrtelecom network, without a logo. (Please note that re-broadcasting by the third parties is not allowed before the end of the speech).
EUTELSAT W3A 7 deg East TXP B2 CHANNEL 9MHZ H1 9.45 – 10.45 and 11.30 – 12.30 Plenary meetings of the Energy Forum will be held in the Grand Meetings Room of the Ukrainian House. Video from the meetings will be on the display in hall and in the press centre. 11.10, 13.30 and 14.00 Participants of the Forum will hold short press briefings. The briefings will be broadcast live on National Channel 1. 18.00 Concluding press-conference of the Forum. It will be broadcast live by the NTCU. NOTE!!! Photographers are invited to the conference-hall of the Ukrainian House to make protocol shooting from a specially arranged place. For convenience of media representatives there will be plasma-screens installed in the Ukrainian House. For cameramen there will be a signal distribution arranged. Therefore all cameramen should have a set of connection cables. On the first floor of the Ukrainian House a press-centre will be opened during the Forum. Only personal photographers and cameramen of the participating Heads of States are invited. (Please note that after the address of the President of Ukraine photographers and cameramen will be asked to leave the room) Pool ¹3 9.00 – 15.00 Work at the press-center of the Secretariat. (room 146, 156) with availability of communication with experts from Summit participating states. Limited accreditation. 50 journalists from each Ukrainian and foreign side. In the press-center journalists can watch the opening address of the President of Ukraine, use the phone, send faxes and e-mails, use the Internet (Wi-Fi access is also available) In room 156 cameramen will have direct connection into Ukrtelecom network available. Besides foreign media will have a satellite connection. Limited accreditation. 15 photographers and cameramen from each Ukrainian and foreign side. For personal photographers and cameramen of the participating Heads of States a saparate working area is provided. NTCU and Channel 5 will be broadcasting live the welcoming ceremony, the opening address of the President of Ukraine, official documents signature ceremony and the press availability of the participating Heads of States. The signal will also be available through Ukrtelecom network and EBU satellite with limitation of re-broadcasting before the end of each event. There will also be Internet broadcasting of the events arranged by UTR World (http://www.utr.kiev.ua/) PLEASE NOTE!!! The time of the events may be subject to change.
