For the first time in Ukraine — the Austrian Energy Days

For the first time in Ukraine the Austrian Energy Agency in co-operation with the Austrian Trade Commission in Kyiv organizes the Austrian Energy Days in Ukraine held June, 4, in the conference halls of the Specialized exhibition center «EXPODONBASS» in the framework of the 10th international exhibition «Power engineering. Electrical engineering. Automation» and the international scientific and practical conference «Energy efficiency of a large industrial region».

The main focus on the first day of the event is on the technologies for use of renewable energy sources as well as energy efficiency, financial instruments and consulting services.

The event aims at bringing together Austrian and Ukrainian companies in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency with the goal to initiate investment projects. The event also serves as a platform to present first hand information in relevant framework conditions in Ukraine.

The participants of the event are the representatives of the Austrian and Ukrainian companies and business circles. The chairman of the event is Ing. Mag. Herbert Lechner, Deputy Director, Austrian Energy Agency.

Press-conference, dedicated 4-th International specialized exhibition «Metallurgy Ukraine 2007».

Today in SEC«EXPODONBASS» took place the press-conference, dedicated International exhibition of machines, equipment, technologies and products of mining and smelting complex «Metallurgy Ukraine 2007», which will be staged on September 4-7.

At the press-conference participate:

• The director of international specialized exhibitions of «Messe Duesseldorf GmbH» (Germany), Cem Bagci

The representatives of mass media were mostly interested in quantitative staff of exhibitors, what regions of Ukraine and CIS countries are represented products, what aims and goals would like to achieve organizers of such scale event.

Huge interest attract announce of opening of new pavilion, which has 2000 m² and equipped according with new world standards, at exhibition «Metallurgy Ukraine 2007».

At "EXPODONBASS" continues the preparation for the 4-th international specialized exhibition "Metallurgy Ukraine 2007".

Being the key industry of the economy of any modern state, enormous value is given to the development of metallurgical branch in Ukraine. Therefore the largest metallurgical for is passed in Donetsk - the capital of Donbass, Ukrainian center of production and consumption of metal and its products.

In exhibition will participate the most important domestic enterprises, such as 'Novokramatorsk metallurgical plant', 'Kramatorsk plant of heavy machine-tool construction', "Energomashspecstal" (Kramatorsk), 'Donetsk metal rolling plant', "Donetskstal'", plant "Istil" (Donetsk), "Industrial- metal ware union" (Odessa), the corporation "Galpodshipnik" (L'vov) and many others.

Among the foreign participants there are companies from Belarus', India, Spain, Canada, China, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Luxemburg. The big display presented by Austria, Turkey and Italy. The biggest pavilion will be presented by Germany, which includes more than 20 companies.

The enormous business program of exhibition consists of daily seminars and conferences on the key problems of branch, presentation of participants.

The work of exhibition will be widely covered in Mass Media. For the press on the eve of the exhibition (on 30 August, 2007, 12:00) there will be traditionally carried out press conference.

Organizers and exhibitors invite for participation in exhibition business visitors, leaders and specialists of industrial enterprises and scientific organizations of mining and metallurgical complex and adjacent with it industry branches CIS countries and foreign countries, which, we are confident, will find here resolutions of many questions, which will allow them to strengthen their positions on the market, to find new levers for achievement of purpose.
