Observance by passengers of rules of passing of passport control will help to be checked-in fast, saving time for frontier formalities.

Domestic flight

The passengers traveling within Ukraine, pass passport control on the ground floor of air terminal. Following documents are necessary for control passing: the passport of the citizen of Ukraine, in case of travel with children - the birth certificate of the child.

International flights

The passengers who are departing abroad, pass passport control on the second floor of a building of air terminal, under the documents granting the right of an intersection of national boundary of Ukraine.
 

          For citizens of Ukraine

The following documents granting the right to an intersection of boundary are necessary for passport control passing for citizens of Ukraine:

• The passport of the citizen of Ukraine for trip abroad

• Diplomatic passport

• Service passport

• Travel document of the child

• The identification card of the seaman

• The certificate of a crewman.

When the child flies with one of parents, it is necessary to have the power of attorney on the right of exportation of the child for limits of Ukraine.

In the cases envisioned by international treaties, instead of the enumerated documents, by citizens of Ukraine other documents on the right of departure from Ukraine and entry to Ukraine can be used.
 
In case of loss of the enumerated documents by the citizen of Ukraine overseas, the document which grants the right to entry to Ukraine, is the certificate on returning to Ukraine which is given by a consular office the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine overseas.

The document is considered real if he answers a form, is given by the representative on that an agency, respectively issued and belongs to the person of the bearer. The citizen of Ukraine on any reason cannot be limited in the right to entry to Ukraine. During check of passports officials of a check point have the right to clarify availability of limiting circumstances because of which to the citizen can be given temporarily up in entry to Ukraine, and if necessary to conduct polling of citizens which are routed through frontier, for identification of the purpose of their trip

Persons who try to get on aircrafts of an oversea direction out of passport control or which have shown another's or invalid documents on passport control, are considered as trespassers of National Frontier. Usage false, or another's passports, involves their obligatory removal by frontier squads. Such documents are referred to divisions of the passport, registration and migratory service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Frontier intruders bear responsibility according to the current legislation. .

For foreign citizen

Foreigners enter Ukraine, leave Ukraine and go en route on its territory through check points on frontier under the national passport in the presence of the appropriate visa if other order of entry and departure is not established by the legislation of Ukraine.

Citizens of the states with whom Ukraine concludes international treaties about mutual visa-free trips, enter Ukraine under the real national passport in case of availability of properly issued invitation from legal and physical persons in Ukraine if other is not stipulated by the international treaty of Ukraine.

The detailed information on an order of entry to Ukraine can be received in consular department of Ukraine overseas. Domestic passports and identification cards of foreign states are not documents on the right of an intersection of frontier of Ukraine. Stateless persons who permanently live in Ukraine, leave abroad under the certificate of the stateless person for trip abroad and the visa on departure Ukraine.

Transit journey of foreigners through territory of Ukraine is allowed at availability for them transit Ukrainian visa, the visa of country of destination, passage tickets or other documents which confirm transit character of trip if other is not stipulated by the legislation of Ukraine. Transit journey considers stay in Ukraine within time appointed in the passage ticket, and in case of absence of the ticket is the period actually necessary for an intersection of territory of Ukraine on an appropriate type of transport. In all cases period of transit journey through territory of Ukraine should not exceed three days

In territory of Ukraine the foreigner should signal immediately about loss of the national passport to the organization which takes he over, to law-enforcement body and in embassy of his country in Ukraine in order to receive documents on departure home. To the foreigner who at receipt of the entrance visa of Ukraine or other documents on the right of entry to Ukraine has submitted about himself or about the purpose of the trip doubtful convergence, by competent authorities of Ukraine can be given up in entry to Ukraine.

At passing of passport control by the foreigner the frontier squad gives him the registration insert for the passport for travel abroad which is necessary for showing frontier guards at departure from Ukraine. The availability of such insert essentially reduces time of passing of passport control.
