AIRPORT  DONETSK  DEVELOPMENT

Not the secret, that the airport Donetsk requires today modernization as possibilities for this purpose are. 
Therefore at the airport the investment project «Complex reconstruction, extension and the technical equipping of the Utility Enterprise “International airport Donetsk” is worked out and started. According to this project, at the airport building of the new aerostation complex and a runway is planned. The operating budget on building makes 184 mln. dollars of the USA. Project realization will allow to create additional work places. Planned acceptance rate of new air terminal is 1000 passengers per hour. Its building will ensure comfortable service under the international standards to 5 million passengers a year.

 

Putting into operation a new runway will give the chance to become the second alternate airfield in Ukraine and to accept aircrafts without limitation of their maximum take-off mass.  

Near to the terminal it is planned to place necessary objects of an air infrastructure: apron square of 48 thousand sq. m, parking places of engineering for ground maintenance of aircrafts, etc., and the common infrastructure: a skyway of level "arrival" - "departure", a parking on 600 cars, open parking places. Already there is a capital repairs of airport hotel "Polet". Living conditions in it will answer the European standards
