of passengers and baggage"

Baggage - subjects, property and other personal property of the passenger which are necessary for a private use, comfort or for support of conveniences in connection with its travel. If other directly is not defined, the baggage includes checked baggage and hand baggage (nonregistered baggage) of the passenger.

The checked baggage - baggage of the passenger which is accepted by a carrier under the protection for carriage and prompt delivery and on which carrier has given the baggage coupon and a baggage identification label.

Baggage identification label - the document given by a carrier for identification of checked baggage.

The baggage coupon - a part of the ticket which defined checked baggage conditions of carriage (including the coupon in order to receive baggage which is given by a carrier and is attached on the ticket).

Carriage baggage

 For safety control of flight and convenience of passengers in compartment transportation by each passenger of hand baggage in the size no more than 55 x 40 x 20 sm, and also private use subjects is permitted: an umbrella or a cane, a children's cradle, supply and clothes for small children, a plastic package, a bunch of flowers, the diplomat, the video camera, a bag with a laptop in weight no more than 5 kg.

Excess baggage

If the weight of your baggage exceeds the free transportation norm the baggage should be previously reserved. If you have not made it, the excess baggage will be transported only in the presence of technical possibilities. You should expect time of the termination of check-in, however in carriage this baggage nevertheless can be refused. Norms of free transportation of baggage do not extend to oversized baggage, sports equipment for ski, aquatics and a golf, TV sets, tape units and audio - subjects, video - home appliances in weight more than 10 kg, pets and birds, except for the seeing eye dogs attending blind, flowers, saplings of plants, food greens, weight more than 5 kg, the express correspondence and parcels more than 5 kg. Carriage the indicated subjects is paid for their actual weight irrespective of quantity of passenger baggage. Payment for carriage animals, both in cargo, and in passenger compartment of the aircraft is levied on a double rate of the excess baggage fixed by airline in a concrete direction, irrespective of other passenger baggage and is defined, proceeding from weight of an animal together the container and a forage.
 

Limitations in carriage of  baggage

The dangerous baggage is transported only at observance of special conditions. Dangerous things, materials require special transport conditions and can be transported only with the consent of airline. These rules, mainly, concern to compressed and to liquefied gases, flammable liquids and solid substances, an ammunition, the weapon, easily flammable materials, mercury, poisons, other materials from the list of dangerous materials IATA. The fire, gaseous, pneumatic, cold, mechanical weapon of all sorts, and also sports and fowling pieces can be accepted in checked baggage. Guns should be unload and are specially packed. Weapon reception to carriage, official registration of papers, delivery to an aircraft is made by the Air Security Service together with a linear department of internal affairs.
