Born on July 23, 1945 in Dunayiv Village of Peremyshlyany District of Lviv Region.

Graduated from Lviv Polytechnic Institute in 1973 (Speciality “Radio Engineering”)

Professional activity:

  • 1973-1980 – Assistant , Head of Scientific Laboratory at the Department of Radio Engineering Systems of Lviv Polytechnical Institute

  • 1980-1984 – Ph.D. student , Moscow Aviation Institute

  • 1984- up to now – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Radio Engineering Systems of Lviv Polytechnic National University

  • 1986-2002 – Deputy Vice-rector for Research and Science

  • 2002-2005 – Vice-rector for Research and Science

  • 2005-2007 – First Vice-rector

  • from May 2007 – Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University

Scientific interest is focused on the sphere of designing of radio-electronic devices. Author of more than 130 scientific articles, a monograph “System Analysis of Quality of Precise Radio-electronic Devices Production ”
