Gothic cheat codes: 
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a
backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor
to edit the "gothic.ini" file in the game folder.
Change the "test mode 0" entry to "test mode 1" to enable cheat
mode.
Press one of the following keys during game play.

Result                       Key

Cycle through game sections  [F7]

BloodMode:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file;

Change the "bloodDetail 1" entry to "bloodDetail 3".

CheatMode2:
In the file gothic.ini change test mode from 0 to 1,
then you can press [F2] iin the game to activate the
console, here type in:

Update to v1.07 and press [S] or [B] in the game to get to the
start screen, here just type MARVIN

Now the cheat mode and the console are activated.

(If you have a version < v1.07: In the file gothic.ini
change test mode from 0 to 1, then you can press [F2] in the
game to activate the console, here type in:

cheat god       - God mode
cheat full      - Heal
hurtswampschark - Hurt shark
harpie          - Harpie
lurker          - Lurker
lichtbringer    - Artefact (probably for a quest)
kill            - Kills selected enemy (no experience points gained)

[H]  - Character harms himself
[Z]  - Character spins around
[K]  - Character vanishes in the ground (press multiple times)


Blood mode:
In file gothic.ini change bloodDetail from 1 to 3
