Meetings of veterans

A glorious tradition exists at Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise. Veterans, who had spent many years of their working life at the airport, are revered and invited to visit it. This year eight meetings of veterans are going to be held at the airport, where they will recollect their youth. These meetings are held under the auspices of the airport management, and in particular Yuriy I. Solonchuk, Director of   Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise, Alexander D. Martynyuk, trade union committee chairman, Quality Department, and with the participation of Alexander N. Lobanov, Head of Veteran Council. This Veteran Council attends to approximately eight hundred former airport workers. Veterans had a great mind to visit Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise and departments' personnel heartily greet their former colleagues and inform about changes that have taken place recently. A unique four-kilometer runway, one of the best in Europe is the proud of the airport. This year the airport celebrated servicing of the five-million passenger, the number of flights handled at the airport increases constantly, dramatic changes in the structure of Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise have taken place, aircraft handling and passenger servicing is performed under the state-of-the-art technologies and equipment. The veterans wondered greatly having been informed about all mentioned above and have seen everything with their own eyes.

        Nowadays a new generation replaced veterans at their working places and the veterans are happy to become aware of their lifework has being rapidly and successfully developed, and them as the experienced first movers are respected and revered.
