    After the introduction workshop, teachers prepare their students for participation in the Learning Circle. This involves discussing responsibilities, preparing introductions and working on question formulation strategies that will yield the best content.

    Week 1: Opening the Learning Circle Write and send:

    Interaction begins with the first introductory electronic messages. Teachers open the Circle with a chat session and send their first "Hello" message. Students send a Class Letter to the Learning Circle to introduce themselves, their school, community and expectations for the LC.
    
    Week 2 & 3 – Sponsoring a Question
    
    Each class formulates a question* on their Learning circle Theme.

    Facilitator to help determine date and time
    *Teachers and students reflect on what they would most like to learn from interaction with regional experts in other locations. Each class formulates a single question, which they would like to research. This question should as much as possible seek to bring out qualitative responses and meet expectations as defined in the past week. At the end of the second week, classes who are yet to send any messages will be removed after an initial warning from the LC.
    
    Weeks 4, 5, 6 & 7: Sending in responses to Sponsored Questions Each class responds to all the questions from the other classes in the Circle that have been sent within the specified timeline.

    Students and teachers use their expertise and research on their local surroundings to respond to each of the questions raised by other classes in a timely manner.
    
    Week 8 & 9: Summarizing the Circle Responses Write and Send summary to partner schools in your Learning Circle

    Each class collects and analyzes the responses to their sponsored question. They prepare a summary of the responses for the Circle publication. For classes who will be going on holiday, they should also send their Good Bye messages
    
    Week 10: Closing the Learning Circle Send goodbye message to the Circle and Fill in Evaluation
    
    Monday November 26th
