“HyperActive”: Internet for professionals and all the rest!
 
From December, 1 till February, 29, 2008 unlimited mobile access to EDGE/GPRS Internet for subscribers of “HyperActive” by MTS will cost 100 UAH a month!
 
Benefits of the service
  • Without limitations: “HyperActive” subscribers have free service activation, no expenses for incoming and outgoing data amount and free time of use.
  • Fast: speed of data transfer complies with the high-quality Dial-Up connection (20–40 Kb/s). Maximum speed of data transfer when using GPRS – 107,2 Kbit/s, EDGE – 236 Kbit/s.
  • Everywhere: MTS coverage extends for 95% of territory of Ukraine and continuously enlarges.
  • Any time: 24 hours, 7 days a week.

* Calendar month is specified as a period from the first till the last day of a month, for example from 01.12.2007 till 31.12.2007.
Attention! the payment, 100 UAH with VAT, is collected regardless of the calendar month day which the service use began from. For example, if you use the service for the first time 05.12.2007, then 100 UAH will be written off your account, and unlimited access to Internet will be given till 31.12.2007.
 

To begin using of “HyperActive” service it is necessary to:

  • have mobile terminal supporting GPRS and/or EDGE technologies, connected to personal computer or portable PC. At the same time some of the latest models of the terminals (smartphones) let have access to Internet resources and to operate with e-mail without connecting to personal computer or portable PC;
  • activate “HyperActive” service for your mobile phone.

Contract customers can activate the service by number 111 (by MTS mobile phone within Ukraine, free of charge, 24 hours) or in any MTS shop.

MTS subscribers of prepaid service and JEANS can just send a free SMS to number 1040001.

  • create new Dial-Up connection in an access device or in a smartphone;
  • adjust corresponding software (web-browser, mail account etc.).
 

To set up the service do the following:

In case of using a telephone (smartphone):
 
1. To use the service you need to create right in the telephone (smartphone) a new profile with the following parameters:

Connection name
HyperActive or any other
Data bearer
GPRS
Access Point Name
active
All other parameters leave unchanged

2. Indicate this profile as profile by default in connection settings of corresponding program (³nternet-browser, ìail account, ICQ account etc.) or choose it in a dialogue window during connection setting.
 
If you use a mobile terminal connected to personal computer or portable PC:
 
1. Connect you mobile terminal to PC or PPC with the help of a cable (USB or RS232), infra-red connection or Bluetooth, or through PCMCIA-slot.
2. Install to PC the corresponding driver for your terminal modem (you can find the driver on producers web-site or on CD you received together with the terminal).
3. Check capacity for work of the modem.
In additional parameters of the modem indicate the following initialization information:
