Basic
strategy |

Basic game strategy
was repeatedly counted mathematically. It’s the only one right
decision in the game BlackJack. It’s indisputable. Do not
try to play without sticking to basic strategy.
Only strict following to the decisions of basic
strategy will reduce casino advantage to minimum.
The founder of basic strategy (it is the same
as strategy “Monte Carlo”) is considered Boldown. In
the 50-eties, he with his colleagues has counted the most optimal
variants of turns and published his works in one of the Americans
magazines.
But the real upheaval in basic game strategy, without doubt, made
Edward O. Torp, who counted dozens millions of combinations and
carried out the thorough analysis of situations when the player
would most probably win and when he would lose.
Besides, Torp came to the conclusion that the probability of one
or another combination changes with each card, which came out of
the pack. (More detailed information about it is in the item "Cards
counter")
How to take game decisions, sticking to the basic strategy:
- “hard” hand:
- “soft” hand:
-Split the cards if:
- Double the bet if:
a) It is allowed to double only at 11, 10 and 9 points:
Sum of points of your two cards

b) It is allowed to double only at two cards:
Sum of points of your two cards

|
"soft" 13 or 14 (Ace,2 or Ace,3)
|
|
"soft" 15 or 16 (Ace,4 or Ace,5)
|
|
"soft" 17 or 18 (Ace,6 or Ace,7)
|

- Surrender (Pass):
Sum of points of your two cards

5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
