The Director of the Department of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) visited SE "Boryspil International Airport"

On 24 November, 2006, Mr. Paul Gemoets, the Director of the Department of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) visited State Enterprise "Boryspil International Airport". The aim of this visit was acquainting with implementation of Business Excellence model at Boryspil Airport, levels of excellence, and EFQM award. EFQM Award is the most prestigious European award, symbolizing excellence achievements of the enterprise in every aspect (financial as well as the social ones). Boryspil Airport was awarded the EFQM Certificate "Recognized for Excellence in Europe" (2001, 2005). EFQM Model promotes the leading companies of the developed countries to continuously improve their activity upgrade and achieve the best results.

During his visit Mr. Paul Gemoets became acquainted with the achievements of Boryspil Airport in passenger handling, and with the level of customers' satisfaction. When meeting with Airport management Mr. Paul Gemoets acknowledged a high level of operational organization of the company and expressed his satisfaction with the airport operation.
