Mini-football Tournament

In November 9 to 12, 2006, the V International mini-football tournament was played in Kiev between international air enterprises and airlines. The tournament was organized by International Airlines of Ukraine. Each year the geography of teams-competitors enlarges. This year was the first time for two teams from Italy to take part in. They were our colleagues from the airports of  Palermo and Milan.

The games were held in groups, four teams in each one. Our football-players reached the semi-final having won over the teams KLM (Holland), Uralavia (Russia) and Palermo airport. The football-players of International Airlines of Ukraine, which won over the Pars airline (Iran) and Milan airport, became the matchers of our team in the semi-final. The score 3:1 is a persuasive victory of the team of  Boryspil International Airport. EDS (Switzerland) is at the third place after its win over the home team International Airlines of Ukraine.  A play with Uralavia expected us in the final. Staykov brothers put our team ahead from the first moments. Boryspil football-players finished the first time with the score 4:0. Total score of the final game is 6:2 in our favor. This is the second consecutive victory of Boryspil International Airport team.

Orlin Staykov, Grigoriy Staykov, Oleksandr Pistchaniy, Yuriy Smarzh, Victor Momot (representatives of fire and rescue department), Yuriy Byatets (security guard department), Oleg Sizon, Sergiy Koval (Terminal Complex), Andriy Remin (main power engineering Department), Oleksandr Onishchenko (coach) won Tournament Cup and golden medals.
