5th million passenger

It was for the fist time that on November 14, 2007 Boryspil International Airport State Enterprise has handled the 5th million passenger. Olena O. Starchenko, a kiever, Manager of "Johns and Johnson" company became that lucky passenger. It is interesting to know that Olena bought a ticket only on the eve of November 13, 2007 to the flight VV 407 to Moscow by Aerosweet airline. In the morning of November 14, 2007 she was surprised to know that she personally became the anniversary passenger from the beginning of the year 2007.

The Airport shows a constant increase of traffic volume grow. For less than   a year the number of passengers handled at the airport has increased for 1 million people. 

All the abovementioned confirms that Boryspil Airport is able to achieve significantly higher milestones defined in the Project of development of the Enterprise. Airport Management do all their best to urgently commence new areas for passengers' handling.

The Airport's foremost goal is prolongation of passenger gallery both towards VIP-lounge and Terminal A. In 2008 for the funds of Japanese loan the construction of Terminal D with capacity up to 2000 PHP starts. This shall allow handling up to 5,5 million people more.

In 2012 Ukraine will host European football championship. By that time the Airport shall built new terminals and enlarge its infrastructure to handle passengers and guests of UEFA EURO 2012 under European standards.
