New terminal complex of the airport by the Japanese credit.
Nobody has some doubts as to importance of an arrangement near to the city of Borispol the big strategic enterprise - the main air gate of Ukraine - international airport " Borispol " which serves about 61 % of total volume of passenger traffic of Ukraine. The significant part of the area territorial communities population is employed in the state enterprise " International airport "Borispil" or other enterprises which are its partners. The greatest particle of tax revenues in local budgets also is provided due to successful industrial activity of the enterprise which constantly develops and raises services quality.
In accordance to the SE " International airport "Borispil" development policy, that is successfully introduced by the management the significant development is planned during 2006-2009. Among the major objects of construction for the forthcoming period it is necessary to note the new terminal complex by means of the Japanese credit. The government of Japan has defined expedient to allocate investments into our enterprise that is the additional evidence of its profitableness and financial viability. Design works now come to the finish, civil work start are planned to June of the next year. The terminal complex building area that will meet the highest requirements to the passengers safety and service quality will reach about 70 thousand in sq.m. that will allow to provide its capacity up to 2000 pass / busy-hour and will create up to 3 thousand new workplaces. Near to the terminal complex there will be located necessary objects of a special airport infrastructure: apron, parking places for ground service equipment, etc., and the general infrastructure: the access road with a viaduct, parking for passenger's transport, hotels and office complex.
The special attention at designing is paying to arrangements of the surrounding environment protection to minimize the negative influence on an environment, both at carrying out of civil work, and in the future at functioning the terminal complex. Constant monitoring for noise loading, atmospheric air pollution level, water objects condition is establishing. For the construction period measures for the nature objects pollution prevention are provided. The newest construction technologies application are directed on energy saving and rational use of resources. The number of objects for terminal complex construction has direct nature protection assignment, namely domestic water drainage system reconstruction, modern cleaning constructions for storm return waters building.
The new terminal putting into operation is planned to 2009 though already sharp deficiency of floor spaces at the enterprise which is caused by continuous growth of a volume of passenger traffic and park of planes today is felt.
