Creation of the CJSC “Atlas” — one of the first private commercial structures in Ukraine with 100 % Ukrainian capital.

1990-1994. Formation

Formation of telecommunication projects realization and telecommunication equipment deliveries directions. Establishment of partner relations with world known leaders of telecommunications market (Motorola, Northen Telecom, Ericsson and others), own experts training, preparation of technical base. Realization of first telecommunication projects.

1995-1997. The system integration  in the field of telecommunications

The company takes the system integrator position in the field of telecommunication solutions for large communication operators and corporate clients. Realization of first large projects — main fibre-optical line ITUR for Public Corporation "Ukrtelecom", departmental telephone system for National bank of Ukraine and others. Establishment of partner relations with such companies as Cisco Systems, Alcatel, Siemens, Reichle&DeMassari (R&M) and others. Expansion of services spectrum, provided by the company in the field of telecommunications. Creation of design department of technical and service centers of realization. Creation of a branch company “Center of bank information technologies” (CEBIT).

1998. Integration in the market of complex information systems

Software development and systems integration market entry, creation of the program systems department. Creation of the first educational center in Ukraine, certificated by company Nortel*. Among the largest complex projects, started at this time, it is necessary to note the projects for the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the enterprise "Kievgaz", Ministry of Extreme Situations, Accounting chamber of Ukraine and many others.

1999 – 2000. Qualitative and quantitative growth of the system integration projects

Growth of work extents for large communication operators ("Ukrtelecom", Kyivstar, UMC), qualitative and quantitative growth of projects for National bank of Ukraine, the Pension fund of Ukraine. Work on one of the largest projects — telecommunication infrastructure for the building of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine . The Company Nortel recognized this work as a project of the year, and Atlas has been declared as a  Partner of the year 2000.

Active work with the State Tax Administration of Ukraine in the field of telecommunications and creation of the automatic electronic document circulation system has begun. Establishment of partner relations with the leading producers of software —  Microsoft, Oracle, SCO.

2001-2002. Complex projects of system integration

Alongside with work as system integrator, searching and deployment of activities in new areas continue. Licenses of the special telecommunication systems and the information protection Department of the Security Service of Ukraine have been received; the projects in the field of complex systems of information protection for state and commercial structures have been started.

The given direction enables to offer customers complete service complex provided by the company. Atlas has begun the work on projects of the building complex safety providing, where the company experience in the field of telecommunications and development of applied software has been used. Corresponding projects (on KSZI and systems of access restriction) for Secretary of the Cabinet Ministers, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economics have been started. In general, the complexity of the projects realized by Atlas increases. Corporate networks for the Lvov Bank Institute and the internal revenue service in Dnepropetrovsk, system of departmental telephony and computer networks for the Sumy Bank Academy have been created.

Applying the operational experience in the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Atlas has won the international tender to create the Systems for personified account payments, the National Cash Department of social insurance, Republic Moldova.

The amount of works for communication operators continues to increase. Partner relations with Lucent Technologies Company are established. It stimulated preparation and start of the projects, connected to city telephone switchboards and construction of transport SDH-systems in various cities and areas of Ukraine. Thus the work on the main SDH-projects, directed on the Ukraine primary communication network development continue. Alongside with the own business developing, the process of affiliated companies creation goes on. These companies are engaged in adjacent directions (operating, outsourcing, certification of products and projects, etc.). Besides the partner network has been created in regions. The partner companies promote the Atlas decisions and conjointly participate in complex projects realization.

2003-2004.

Gaining positions in the market of complex information projects, the following directions of the company activity have been created: “Integrated systems of management /ERP/ Management Consulting”, “Systems of enterprise electronic document circulation”. New directions have been opened: consulting and ERP-systems; control and management of buildings and enterprises infrastructure.

Partner relationships with the net.com – well-known company in the field of telecommunications have been established, that expands a spectrum of solutions offered by Atlas. Work with industrial enterprises becomes more active. Applying billing systems in companies "Odessagas" and "Dnepropetrovskgaz" has been completed. Atlas has won the tender and became the general contractor on creation of the integrated complex information system for Pension fund of Ukraine. The first turns of basic subsystems IKIS are put into operation. Great extent of works on first-order creation of Special information-telecommunication system for public authorities (under the order of the Cabinet Ministers) has been accomplished. Due to the essential increase of the company, the process of its reorganization and application of the control systems in different directions of the Atlas activity has been started.

With the purpose to optimize the internal business processes, the “Atlas” Corporation  has been created, headed by CJSC “Atlas”.  It included the companies that work in the information technologies market.  The daughter companies “Anti-virus laboratory CEBIT” and “SoftKey-Ukraine”, which formed the “Atlas” corporation, have been created.
