Raiffeisenbank Ukraine is
a subsidiary of Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG, 100 per cent owned by RZB, is the holding company for RZB's most important subsidiaries in CEE. RZB is the central institution of the Austrian Raiffeisen Banking Group, the country's most powerful banking group. RZB also considers Central and Eastern Europe as its home market and operates, via Raiffeisen International, a network of 15 subsidiary banks with roughly 800 banking outlets, as well as
two representative offices, in 16 markets of the region.

In 1994 RZB opened its representative office in Ukraine. In march 1998 the subsidiary bank – Raiffeisenbank Ukraine.
Upon activity results in 2001 the National Bank of Urkaine had officially included Raiffeisenbank Ukraine to the category of 8 biggest banks, which is a proof of fastest growth rate in the Ukrainian banking history.
