Suhonyako born in 1953 in Chernihov oblast (Novhorod-Siversky region). Graduated from Vinnitsa Polytechnic institute . Radio-engineer. Working experience: a worker, master, workshop head, Zhytomir district communication center, politic-economy lecturer for Zhytomir branch of Kyiv Polytechnic institute. Married. Has a daughter and a son. Within May Ц October 1986 took part in liquidation of Chernobyl APS catastrophe . From November 1990 Ц member of the Board for Social-Democratic Party of Ukraine (SDPU). 991-1992 Ц the first SDPU Head. From 1990 Ц PeopleТs deputy of Ukraine , XII convocation (Committee on economic reforms and national economy). Was engaged in forming national monetary system of Ukraine. Organized a number of international and national conferences, published books on introduction and stabilizing national currency and banking system development. Late April 1993 Ц President to the Association of Ukrainian bank (AUB). Was engaged in banking system development issues. Is awarded as УHonored economist of UkraineФ. Author of the books УBanks: growth through post-socialismФ, УUkraine: return to itselfФ, numerous publications regarding finance, economy and politics. Credo: УGo to the truth at any costФ .
