Ekaterina Shcheglova is an editor-in-chief of marketing communications magazine «Marketing Media Review»
 
«This way is a fate, I thought recently, working out the grant totals of past years and estimating my journalism career.
Who would think, that marketing courses which funs and fashions for the sake of I began to visit at school will bring me over to such specialization after many years.
 
At that time I was very carried with the marketing which was read for graduating students by teacher of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute every weekend according to the special agreement between my school and KPI.
After school I faced a choice — to enter the faculty of informatics and computing engineering (FICE) or the faculty of management and marketing (FMM), KPI. Again with the fate’s interference I enter on FMM, which did only the third set of students. Then the profession of marketing specialist and manager was fashionable, though distant of today's realities. The bases of teaching these professions were such classics as Meskon and Kotler. Then I could not just imagine that I’ll see Philip Kotler not in my dreams, and his interview will appear on the pages of magazine, where I’m an editor-in-chief.
 
On a fourth course I decided to try as a journalist. I started with review of the policy after this there were a lot of other markets, and then I achieved successes in my career and, eventually, became a deputy of editor-in-chief of «Invest newspaper» (I’m working here for eight years).
 
When the Marketing Media Review project was started, a few persons was tried themselves as it’s leader, but a final choice was on me — probably, I had more forces and patience to heave up a magazine from a zero, to gather a staff, to find an own structure, style and sparkles.
 
Today the magazine has its own face, which are made by very creative and talented persons who try to do the magazine yet better, and, certainly, the aspiration to be the best and the unique».
