As the time is getting closer to my trip to Moscow and then my dear home, Kiev,- I cannot stop thinking how much I miss everything at home. My Ukrainian home! In English, they say East or West Ц home is best. I have two homes now. And I love them both. My two homes are very different. They are far away from each other Ц across the ocean. They carry different cultures and life styles. One is so much warmer Ц and I miss this warmth in my other home. One Ц is much more prosperous, but another one Ц much more meaningful and honest. There are so many ways to describe my feelings about my new life in Canada. I am happy here because I am with the man of my life, my love, my dream that came true. I am extremely homesick, because I am far away from my parents, my blood and my life! I will always call myself Ukrainian and say that I am from Kiev, because it is who I am; it is my identity and pride. I cannot wait to see you Ц my dear friends. I can only imagine how happy my face will look like when I will give you a big hug and will speak my language everyday with you all again! I cannot wait to get home!
