Customs control and customs registration of the goods which are transferred via international mail through the customs border of Ukraine are carried out in places that are determined and equipped by the central body in the field of communication and informatization of Ukraine having agreed with specially authorized central body of the executive power in the field of customs.
Delivery of international mail to the places of customs registration, unpacking and presenting of goods for inspection, re-packing and storage are carried out by mail communication companies of Ukraine at their own expense with participation and under the control of customs bodies.
