AN-140 has obtained international recognition

The project of Ukrainian plane AN-140 has obtained international recognition. Kharkov plant became laureate of the rating "The best world's aircraft trade marks" that is realized by one of the most prestigious specialized magazine "Flight International". The results of the rating were announced in the International Airspace saloon in Le Burge.

Business talks in Le Burge proved to be successful for Ukrainian delegation. Antonov plant will partake in constriction of new regional airplane in China. One more subject for consultation is exploitation of plane "Ruslan". The interest of world's companies to Ukrainian transport planes has rose greatly after NATO's decision to use these planes.

 Antonov plant has announced the project of Ruslans' modernization in Le Burge; these planes are going to convert into transcontinental flight. It is possible that the first AN-140 will be assembled in Samara till the end of the year. The talks with Russian Vice-Prime Minister Boris Aleshin took place in Le Burge.  

And 17th June Ukrainian regional plane demonstrated its ability in Paris sky. News for period 30.05.03 – 19.06.03
