PEACEKEEPING
Ukraine began to take part in peacekeeping operations after Verkhovna Rada adopted the resolution ¹ 2538-Õ²² of 3 July 1992 “On participation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in UN Peacekeeping operations during conflicts on the territory of Former Yugoslavia”.
2858 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine take part in 9 peacekeeping missions according to the resolutions of Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Article 2 of the Constitution of Ukraine regarding the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
