|
4
|
|
Mechanical properties and resistance of T-joints of 12KhGN2MFDRA steel (hot-rolled and heat-treated) to cold crack formation were
investigated relative to manual electric arc and mechanized welding in shielding gases using solid wires which provide welds
of a different type of alloying (bainitic-ferritic, ferritic-bainitic, austenitic).

TSYBULKIN G.A. SITUATION ALGORITHMS OF AUTOMATIC CORRECTION OF
THE ROBOT MOTION PATH IN ARC WELDING
|
11
|
|
Algorithms of a situational type with an adaptive variation of the correction step are suggested. The latter is varied on the
basis of logical analysis of the formed situation characterizing current and previous positions of a tool relative to the welded
joint under conditions of an incomplete information that comes from the sensing device. Results of computer modelling of the
algorithms are given.

ISHCHENKO A.Ya., CHAPOR V.O. and YAVORSKAYA M.R. EFFECT OF
SCANDIUM ADDITIONS ON WELDABILITY OF ALLOY OF Al-Zn-Mg SYSTEM
|
15
|
|
Data are presented about the effect of scandium additions in parent metal and filler wires on mechanical properties of welded
joints. The susceptibility of joints to hot crack formation in welding experimental aluminium alloy Al-6Zn-2Mg is evaluated.
Results of investigations confirmed the high effectiveness of using scandium in the parent metal of alloys of Al-Zn-Mg system
and in all filler wires of Al-Mg system which are used in welding alloys of this type.

TARANOVA T.G. and GRIGORENKO G.M. PECULIARITIES OF DIFFUSION
BONDING OF MAGNETIC SYSTEM PARTS
|
18
|
|
Diffusion bonding used for the manufacture of hyroscopic devices provides the guaranteed quality of the bonds in magnetically soft
materials with high mechanical and magnetic properties, causing no changes in their initial electrophysical characteristics.
Optimal parameters of the process, involving thermal cycling that allows structure and properties of the formed bonds to be
controlled, are given.

PARAMETERS ON THE RATE OF HEATING OF THE WELD ZONE METAL
|
22
|
|
Peculiarities of implementation of high-rate heating in arc welding are considered. The use of the N.N. Rykalin's numerical
methods made it possible to prove the possibility of achieving high heating rates (1000 oC/s and higher) in arc welding, and
analyse peculiarities of the effect of welding parameters on the rate of heating of a welded joint. The heating rate was found to
be in inverse relationship with the welding heat input.

FORMATION IN EXPLOSION WELDING OF METALS
|

|
|
Investigations into characteristic ranges of collision of metal plates in the kinematic coordinates resulted in proving of
existence, phenomenological description and quantitative determination of boundaries of the ranges of explosion welding
for a case of formation of the wave-free interface and development of abnormal waves in the weld zone. It is shown that
a change in the mechanism of formation of a welded joint with variation of parameters of a high-velocity collision has a
substantial effect on the character of distribution of maximum shears in the weld zone metal.

ASTAKHOV E.A. HIGH-TEMPERATURE TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF THERMAL
SPRAY COATINGS CONTAINING SOLID LUBRICANTS
|
31
|
|
Results of investigations of tribological properties of thermal spray coatings containing solid lubricants under conditions of
dry friction and increased temperatures are given. Addition of solid lubricants (FemOn or CaF2) to the cast iron based coatings
allows a substantial improvement in their anti-friction properties at increased temperatures. Friction coefficient of
detonation coatings with FemOn at 400 oC is decreased 1.5 times and that of plasma coatings with CaF2 is decreased 3 times, as
compared with friction coefficient of cast iron. Wear resistance, respectively, is increased by 30 % on the average.

AND HEAT TREATMENT |
37 |
|
Technologies and welding consumables for manual arc and mechanized welding of high-strength hardenable steels without
preheating and postweld heat treatment (PWHT) to provide a welded joint equal in strength to the base metal are presented.
Structure, physical-chemical properties, susceptibility to a delayed fracture and corrosion cracking of welded joints made
from 15Kh2N4MDA (C - 0.15; Cr - 2.0; Ni - 4.0; Mo, Cu - 1.0 wt.%) high-strength steel are described. P. 37

DESIGN OF AN INDUCTOR WITH A MAGNETIC CORE FOR HEATING FLAT
SURFACES
|
41 |
|
A procedure of design of a system of circular inductor with the magnetic core, namely a flat part (electric load), is described,
based on application of the equivalent circuits and the results of calculation of the circuit electrical parameters. Calculation
results and experimental data are given which demonstrate that the procedure is well-grounded and is sufficiently accurate for
practical calculations. |
BAGROV V.A. and KALIANOV V.N. EFFECT OF METHOD OF WEAR-RESISTANT
SURFACING ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF A STRENGTHENING PHASE IN
DEPOSITED METAL |
46
|
|
Peculiarities of effect of the method of surfacing on distribution of a strengthening phase in height of the deposited
metal depending on endogeneous or exogeneous nature of its formation are considered. It was established experimentally that
the application of surfacing with a dead filler "levels" the distribution of strengthening phases and stabilizes the
characteristics of wear resistance and microhardness of the deposited metal. |

|
50 |
|
The updated power source VDU-504 which can provide current pulses of 0.1-4.0 s duration periods is described. The schematic diagram
of the source, calculation of its elements, table of conditions and an oscillogram of the output voltage are given. |

AKOPYANTS K.S. IN-CHAMBER LEAK DETECTION
|
53 |
|
The device described is intended for detection of leaks on the side of vacuum, i.e. from the inside of a work chamber. The
device comprises a funnel with a pressure gauge tube installed at its neck. The funnel is moved over the surface being examined.
The leak is detected by deterioration of vacuum in the funnel registered by a vacuum gauge. |
MUZHICHENKO A.F. COMPUTER ATLAS OF THE DIAGRAMS OF AUSTENITE
DECOMPOSITION AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE HAZ METAL OF
WELDED JOINTS ON STRUCTURAL STEELS |
55 |
|
The paper describes a program package which includes spline-approximated plots of austenite decomposition diagrams for
various steel grades. The bank provides information storage and updating. The computer atlas is stored in a form convenient for
computerized forecasting of the HAZ metal mechanical properties. |
KUZMENKO V.G. ON THE FEATURES OF FLUX MELTING IN ELECTRIC ARC WELDING
|
57 |
|
Features of flux melting in the zone in front of the arc are discussed, in particular the probability of formation of a
discontinuity of the slag skin in this section in SAW. It is shown that in the actual welding processes no slag film forms in
front of the moving arc due to the high heat-insulating properties of the fluxes.
