Glasfarbe GL
Ink for pad and screen printing Glass ink GL, suitable not only for glass printing, but for ceramics, metal printing, chromium-plated materials, materials with different surfaces, as well as thermoplastic.
Glass ink GL is mainly used for printing on glass and ceramics, especially for decoration of
perfumes and advertisements. This special kind of ink, it shows good adhesion and high water resistance. Also this ink can be used on the advertisement materials made of glass and ceramics exposed to moderate pressure in washing.
The ink shows excellent adhesion in printing on metal.
Before printing it is necessary to add hardener GLH in correspondent amount: 20 weight parts of the ink – 1 weight part of the GLH (5%).
In mixed condition time of work with the ink is 8-10 hours. While raising the temperature, the time of work reduces. While raising the mentioned above time, adhesion and resistance of the ink worsen, even if there are no visual changes.
ADDITIONAL CHEMICALS FOR Glasfarbe GL
Hardener GLH is added to the ink immediately before printing: 1 part of hardener – 20 parts of the ink (5%).
To regulate the viscosity of the ink, usually it is enough to add 5-10% of thinner GLTPV (GLV).
GLH Hardener
GLTPV Tinner
SV 1 Retarder
SV 9 Retarder slow
VP Retarder Paste
MP Matting Powder
AP Antistatic Paste
VM 1 Leveling Agent
In pad printing, for printing of very delicate lines, it is possible to add retarder SV 1 into the ink, and in hand screen printing, it is necessary to add retarder SV 9. In the process of ink printing with the retarder added, it is necessary to use only thinner GLTPV (GLV), otherwise if added big amount of retarder some problems can appear while ink transfer.
Before printing, it is necessary to mix the ink thoroughly. To prevent the ink from drying in open boxes, it is necessary to cover the ink with the layer of thinner, later this should be mixed in the ink immediately before printing.
The ink is not inflammable as it is paste-like, and none of special requirements to ink storage should be applied.
Ink for pad printing Tampa plus TPL
Ink for pad printing Tampa plus TPL is used for printing on hard PVC, PC, ABS, SAN, PC, PMMA, most kinds of soft PVC. By adding TPH 1 or TPH 2 it is possible to get excellent adhesion with many other materials (varnished surfaces, anodized aluminium, some plastics).
Practically, due to the difference of printing properties of the indicated materials, it is recommended to make testing printing to identify if the ink is suitable for each particular application.
Tanpa plus TPL is highly gloss ink for pad printing, suitable for printing of qualitative materials. Due to its high resistance it can be used in materials exposed to high mechanical pressure and hand sweat or detergents, for example, pens, cigarette lighters, cosmetics etc.
The ink is quick drying. By adding hardeners TPH 1 and TPH 2, you can fasten the process of drying.
The ink contains only pigments with high resistance to discoloration. The pigments used in the ink are also solvent resistant.
With correct and full drying the ink shows excellent adhesion to printing materials, resistance to rubbing, scratches etc. In many cases adhesion of the ink becomes better if add 10% of the hardener TPH 1 or TPH 2.
Working time at the room temperature and using TPH 1 is 12-14 hours, when using TPH 2 it is 8-10 hours. If the temperature is higher the working time is shorter.
Additional chemicals for Tampa plus TPL
To regulate the viscosity, it is enough to add 10-20% of the thinner TPV to the ink. Quick thinner TPV 2 is used in quick printing. Hardeners TPH 1 and TPH 2 are added in the proportion: 1 part of the hardener/10 parts of the ink.

When you print very delicate lines, you can add retarder SV 5 or paste retarder VP to the ink.
