Our Services

The mission of the Odessa College Testing Center is to provide a comprehensive testing and assessment program to Odessa College students and to members of the community.  To that end, the Testing Center provides a wide variety of tests and testing services.  More information on the tests offered through the Testing Center is available through the links to the left.

The Testing Center is located in Room 200 of the Student Union Building.  Office hours are: Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am until 4 pm, Friday 7:30 am until 1 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters.  In summer (generally mid-May to mid-August) the Testing Center is open from 7:30 am until 5 pm Monday through Thursday and closed on Friday.

To use the services provided, examinees must present a photo ID, such as a driver’s license, and a social security card.  For GED examinees, a Texas driver’s license or DPS-issued ID card along with a social security card must be presented; no other identification is accepted by the Texas GED unit.  Personal items such as books, notebooks, backpacks, cell phones, briefcases, purses, scantron forms, blue books or study aids are not permitted in the testing rooms.  The Testing Center offers scantron forms for sale (25 cents each) and will provide lined paper for essays at no charge.  In addition, only examinees and Testing Center personnel are allowed in the testing rooms. No unaccompanied children are admitted to the Testing Center.  For questions, please call us at 335-6620.
