Exporting currency
values outbound customs
territory of Ukraine

On terms of declaring in oral, following can be exported:

1. Currency of Ukraine - up to UAH 1 000 per person irrespective to his/her age (taking into consideration commemorative and anniversary coins made of non-precious metals, nominal value of which is given in UAH) (R).
2. Foreign currency and circular cheques :
   • for natural person residents - up to USD 3 000 per person;
   • for natural person non-residents - up to USD 1 000 per person,

   or the equivalent of that amount in other foreign currency according to the UAH official rate to that foreign currency stated by the National Bank of Ukraine at the day of crossing of еру customs control bounds (foreign currency can be exported as cash/ circular cheques, but not exceeding the stated amount) - for citizens going to tourists trips or on private purpose as well as for citizens going away on business. R/NR

3. Credit cards emitted by banks of Ukraine (including cards of international payment systems) (R/NR)
4. Credit cards emitted by foreign banks (including cards of international payment systems) and non-banking institutions, imported/exported to/from Ukraine in compliance with current legislation. (NR)
5. Corporative credit cards emitted by foreign banks for citizens working in foreign representative offices of legal persons -non-residents registered in Ukraine. A citizen is obliged to present documents with confirmation of these persons work in the mentioned representative office/organization (signed by CEO, chief accountant and stamped with the stamp of this representative office/organization) or certificate of business trip outbound Ukraine issued by the representative office of legal person - non-resident or an international organization in Ukraine.
6. Credit cards emitted by foreign non-banking organization "American Express" that drew up an agreement with an authorized bank - in case of certificate presenting with confirmation of an account of that citizen in that bank.
7. Individual deposit book and other documents certifying UAH/foreign currency accounts in the authorized banks ( in case these documents are issued under the name of a person departing Ukraine) (R).
8. Individual deposit book and other documents certifying foreign currency accounts in the authorized banks ( in case these documents are issued under the name of a person departing Ukraine) (NR).

The following is exported on terms of compulsory declaring in written form:

1. Currency of Ukraine to the amount up to UAH 10 000 per person irrespective of age including:
   • to the total amount up to UAH 5000 (to the nominal value) including jubilee and memorable coins made of non-precious metals nominal of which is evaluated in hryvnyas;
   • to the total amount up to UAH 5000 (to the nominal value) including jubilee and memorable coins made of gold and silver nominal of which is evaluated in hryvnyas. R/NR
2. Foreign currency and circular checks to the amount up to USD 6000 or equivalent of this amount in another foreign currency in accordance with official rate of hryvnya to foreign currency established by the National Bank of Ukraine as of the date of crossing the customs border (including the amount in foreign currency which is exported on terms of oral declaring) - including amounts written down in certificates of the authorized bank for export of foreign currency Forms No.01 and No.06 for citizens making tourists trips or going abroad on personal purpose:
   • in cash withdrawn from personal account in foreign currency in the authorized bank, R/NR;
   • and/or in cash purchased in a bank or currency exchange point of the authorized bank (only for natural persons-residents);
   • and/or circular checks purchased in an authorized bank, R/NR;
   • and/or by Visa Travel Money card, R/NR.

   Certificate issued according to Form No.01 for export of Visa Travel Money Card it is necessary to indicate the number of the card and the amount preliminary transmitted to this card by the natural person.

3. Foreign currency, checks, bank metals which imported earlier into Ukraine on legal ground (in the presence of customs declaration for their import). R/NR
4. Checks emitted by foreign banks and non-banking institutions which were sent to Ukraine observing the requirements of legislation of Ukraine. NR
5. Credit cards emitted by foreign banks (on presentation of individual license of the National Bank of Ukraine for establishing an account in a foreign bank to the customs body). R
6. Bank metals in the form of bars to the total amount of 100g per person irrespective of age. R/NR
7. Securities evaluated in currency of Ukraine or in foreign currency (on presentation of individual license of the National Bank of Ukraine to the customs body). R/NR
