In no event will the author be held liable for any damages arising from the use of this program. BMgrSaver program fulfils backup and restores BorderManager Access Rules. Main window of the program: Requirements: 1. Windows XP/2000. The Software was not tested on other Windows operation systems. 2. Novell Client v.4.90 and later. 3. SLP (or/and SAP) must work correctly in the network. 4. Novell BorderManager ("NBM") 3.5, 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8. The program was not tested on NBM 3.0 and 2.x. 5. Necessary rights for program's work. You must have the Supervisor rights on BorderManager server. How to get: Free distributive verssion is available on our site by this link Installation and removing: Installation: unpack BMgrSaver.zip file to the any work directory of your workstation. The program files: 1. BMgrSaver.exe – the main program file 2. readme.rtf - the program’s description 3. yyyyMMdd_hhmmss.dat – backup files created by program •yyyy - Year of the file creation •MM - Month of the file creation •dd – Day of the file creation •hh – Hours of the file cration •mm – Minutes of the file creation •ss – Seconds of the file creation Removing: The program does not create any records in Windows Registry of your workstation. So delete all program files by Windows Explorer. Program start 1. Run BMgrSaver.exe 2. In Tree combo box select a tree name where your BorderManager server is presented. 3. In BM server field enter a name of your BorderManager server. Backup: 1. By Path button select a directory for backup files. 2. For backup operation press the Backup files button. If this operation is successful, then you'll see the message: The backup file is created! . Backup files combo box shows a name of this file. Restore: 1. By Path button select a directory, which keeps backup files. 2. In Backup files combo box select a file for restoring. 3. Press Restore button. If the operation is successful, then you'll see the message: BorderManager server has been successfully updated! . After restoring the program fulfils Refresh Server operation ( Refresh Server button in NWAdmin).
