Laboratory of Ion-Exchange and Adsorption

Any comments?

The Laboratory of Ion-Exchange and Adsorption was created at the Chemical Department of National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI) and content 12 employees.

The basic directions of Laboratory activity are:

  • Research of properties for sorption and membrane materials and development on their basis of high-performance technologies for solutions clearing from undesirable admixtures.
  • Development of water purification technologies for receiving of the high-grade water from different original water compositions.
  • Water conditioning for needs of the food, pharmaceutical industry, power plants and others.
  • Monitoring of waters quality.
  • Development of the low-wasted techniques of technological solutions and wastewater purification for industrial plants (in particular, galvanic plants) with valuable components utilization.
  • Development of the process of molasses chromatographic separation in continuous counter-current mode.

Our Laboratory is accredited in State Standardization System of Ukraine on the right of certification of drinking water, drinks, sorption and membrane materials.

The scientific operations of the employees of the Laboratory were submitted at the international conferences in Japan, USA, England, France, Hungary, Russia.

We are working in close contact with Dow Chemical company. Our laboratory research investigations are carrying out with the wide range of DOWEX ion exchange resins and FILMTEC membrane materials.

The last year's main scientific publications by the laboratory employees are:
