Our country’s shipbuilding involving to the large economic programs, which are developed on the national and international levels recently, i.e. creation of the oiltransport corridors /complexes/, renovation of the native transport & fish fleets could improve the Ukrainian yards situation. This words belong to the chief executive of the Association “Ukrsydprom” Yuriy Alekseyev on the two-day scientific-practical seminar “Development prospect of the national shipbuilding & shiprepair in Ukraine” in Nikolaev. Besides, Y. Alekseyev mentioned the importance of marine complex formation, that provides active collaboration of its components. Seminar was hold by the South Academy of raising the level of staff skill of Ukrainian Minprompolitiky for the third time. In fact, the present seminar became international: besides scientists and experts from Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson and Kiev, also took part the head of the Swedish commercial board in Ukraine Tatyana Birka and representatives of the Swedish companies, that present its marine componentry equipment. Analising the development prospects of the Ukrainian shipbuilding, the reporters signified the 3 main directions. This is creation of the best conditions for the successful competition in the foreign market, recovery of the shipbuilding inner market, solution of the burning problems of the different enterprises. As positive sample was named the Public Corporation “Damen Shipyards Ocean” (previous name “Okean”). After privatization and the receipt of the foreign investor this enterprise has a stock of orders, acceptable financing system, carry out production modernization programs. We need to attract strategic investors for other yards, using the advantages that are granted to the shipbuilders by “Nikolaev”, as it was mentioned in the seminar. In this special economic area are registered yet 7 subjects, that realize the investment projects in the sum of 42,5 million USA dollars. At the the chief executive’s of “Ukrsydprom”, Yuriy Alekseyev’s, opinion the favourable system of crediting for shipbuilding of the native customers, including leasing is necessary for the improvement of the prospects. It was mentioned, that in the yard “61th Kommunar” for 5 years the large ship-way is occupied with the unfinished refrigerator of the large capacity. To launch the vessel and to receive other orders is possible under state support. We need to solve the questions about the developing of building of high-speed ferryboats, power barges, frigates & patrol ships, for which gas-turbine ship & generation units will be delivered by the Scientific Industrial Complex “Zorya-Machproject”, mentioned the chief manager of the external economic links department of the regional administration of Nikolaev Vladimir Dubov. However, there are some difficulties with military orders. Director of the State Research-Project Center of shipbuilding Yevgeniy Borisov stated that in our country any national program of shipbuilding is not developed up to now and there is no united state politics concerning this question. He thinks that we need to continue research engineering & experimental development for the creation of maritime equipment samples and to advance into the external market with them. The speakers told with agitation about the difficult situation in certain research institutes & engineering offices, enterprises producing ship equipment and componentries. On the seminar there were also presented the reports about the experience of financing of shipbuilding projects by bank “Aval”, about the possibility of raising of the Ukrainian shipbuilding competitiveness, about the development of shiprepairing in the Chernomorskiy shipyard, about the state of standartization and certification on this field, about the crediting and others.
