Web-Services HTML PRODUCER Any city in Ukraine MOST's HTML producer is responsible for implementing all HTML, JavaScript, and related production work for MOST and will work closely with the site producer and engineering teams to produce and update a quality web site. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong production skills, an eye for good UI and a desire to help an internationally focused e-commerce company create an innovative site for its customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: HTML and JavaScript production for the site. Manipulating graphics for optimal customer experience. Work with designers, producer, and engineers to define UI. QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive knowledge and professional experience with the Internet and the World Wide Web. Experience building quality websites; expert-level HTML coding skills (**without using a WYSIWYG editor**); familiarity with JavaScript and CGI programming, the UNIX environment, and UNIX interface tools (Telnet, FTP etc.); PhotoShop manipulation skills (such as chopping up layered files for HTML) and ability to optimize graphic files. Must be able to correctly estimate the time and effort needed to perform a task, able to meet deadlines with excellent problem-identification and reporting skills. Pluses: Familiarity with Flash. Big plus for experience optimizing web site for search engine spiders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with various engineering project within the company to add a "friendly face" to the applications. Work with the marketing team, to define functionality and features. Work with the Webmaster, design contractors, and engineering team to execute on these features. Develop the site's eCommerce & production interfaces. QUALIFICATIONS : Extensive understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Dynamic HTML environments. Substantial understanding of Internet and e-commerce technologies, ideally working with marketing and engineering on product development (software or Internet). Strong hands-on working knowledge of GoLive and/or DreamWeaver, MacOS, UNIX, related Internet technologies. A degree in engineering is not required. Familiarity of database technologies. Ability to discuss, define, coordinate and implement projects with engineers and graphic artists. Strong project management skills - the ability to define and deliver projects on time. Knowledge of a second language a strong a plus.
