english [/] deutsch russian home page e-mail to us site map OUR PLANES Yak-52 Yak-52 is a twin-seated primary training and aerobatics sports monoplane with low positioned wings and retractable undercarriage. The plane is equipped with M-14P powerplant ( 360 hp output) with В530ТА-D35 airscrew. The plane is manufactured for primary training of pilots. Technical specifications of the plane ensure mastering of elementary, intermediate and higher aerobatics by the pilots. The plane has two cockpits: the front cockpit to seat the pilot, the rear one- for the instructor. If necessary, the plane is controlled by a pilot from the front cockpit. Length 7.7 m Wingspan 9.3 m Plane 15 m ² Empty weight 1035 kg Max T/O 1315 kg Max horizontal speed 270 km/h Range 465 km Take-off run 180 200 m Path length 330 m. Development started in 1966. the first sample plane was equipped with РТ6А-27 Pratt-Witney (Canada) (2 х 715 hp.) turboprop engines . Flight tests started April 16, 1969. In late 1971 the first L-41 OA production plane came into operation with “Slov-Air” Czech Airline. Total 31 planes were manufactured. In 1973 flight tests of L-410M plane began. The plane was equipped with Valter М 601А turboprop engines (Czech). The plane came into operation in 1976. Total 100 pieces of L-410M were built by “Let” Company. In 1979 г. The updated modification L-410UVP was produced. The model became the basic serial product (till the end of 1985 year total 512 planes were built). This plane was different from its predecessors: it has a longer hull, larger wingspans and vertical tail units. Also, the interceptors were installed here. The plane is equipped with Walter М 601 В (2 х 730 hp) turboprop engines. The aircraft was certified in the USSR and put into operation by AEROFLOT. In fact, it was the first foreign aircraft entered the national airlines. Further, a newer update of the plane, L-41 OUVP-E was equipped with more powerful М 601 Е turboprops. The first flight was on December 30,1984. The plane has better takeoff and landing characteristics and lower cockpit noise level. Flying tests commenced in November 1993. Equipment Standard avionics equipment of Soviet and Czech manufacture. Powerplants Walter М 601 Е (2х750 hp) turboprops.
