"Chervona Kalina"
This dance grup is simultaneouslu young and experienced. These yound people, the and experienced. These yound people, the lovers of choreography & folk dances, heve given all their spare time to this art genre for ten and more years. Some of them began to dance wthile being a pupil, another - at youth, some of them graduated from art schol. And all of then were the members of Honoured Folk Dance Ensemble.
Having been the members of that group they performed hundreds and the spectators of Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Hungary, Poland & Turkey applauded to them.
In 1993 they founded their own collective "Chervona Kalina" (Red Snow – ball Tree). Snow-ball tree is a symbol of Ukraine. The repertoire of the collective consists of dances from different regions of of Ukraine & also, because it is from multinational southern part of the country, dance of peoples who in Tavriya.
The ensemble performs real natijnal roots in its creative work joint with high masterly execution.
So, choreographic ensemble "Chervona Kalina" proposes its colourful pro-ficiency to you.
It presents you :
- dancing miniatures "Gutsulochka", "In the Cherry Garden";
- the garland of Ukrainan dances "Kupalochka", "Kadril", "Polka";
- colourful dance-presentation "Yreeting";
- Ukrainian humoristic dance "Supereka";
- the girl round dance "Kalinonka";
- the lad dance "Bukovinsky Zabavy";
- the dance of Besarab gypsies, and the famaus Ukrainian “Gopak”.
All dances are gorgeous fancy-dressed & performed on high professionall level accompanied by music group.
Ensemble “Chervona Kalina” is a prize-winner of 3 International Festivals in Turkey (1993, Ozdere; 1997, Dikili; 1998, Altenova) and the prize-winner of the festival in France (1998, Ruan)
.We would like to widen the geography of our performances with your assis-tance. We are interested as in concert tours as in festival trips. Numerical strength of our group is 25 persons & it includes dancers, musicians & vocalists.
