Український Клуб Студентського Обміну Ukrainian Student Exchange Club Home [index.htm] inbound programs We are happy to welcome you at our website! Our organization was established in 1994 as a non-profit enterprise. However, our activity we had started much earlier - in 91 two of Ukrainian (Soviet) students took part in the Camp Counselor program. Our own experience regarding the World behind "iron curtain" was based on dusty old books, night programs of "voice of America" and some old Hollywood pictures. The first our experience was shocking. We have discovered new country with its culture, people, style of life. This life experience helped us to grow our personality, to develop new point of view at the human and the Planet. Our experience was so positive and new, so, we started to think how we can help the youth to learn the same things. As a result we began to recruit students for cultural exchange programs. Our aim is help people to understand each other better. We believe that the best way to do so is participating in cultural exchange programs. These programs give unique opportunity to dive deep into other culture and such experience lasts for whole life. Since we started from the scratch we learned business basically on our own mistakes and successes. We have created our own model of structuring business activities. We work professionally: responsible, in time, structured. At the time, we encourage ourselves to be close to our participants and partners needs, we individually approach every case. We know many of our participants from every region of Ukraine, some of them after years still coming to our office to volunteer with our programs or just sending notes from other side of the Earth. Within all this years we managed to create, develop and run the following programs: International Camp Counselor Program and Work&Travel Y program with YMCA International Branch, Job America Program with Spirit, number of Au Pair programs for European countries, we send students to high schools to the USA, Canada and Germany, kids to summer camps in the USA and Europe, our youth use advantages of studying languages at language schools in England, Germany and Spain. We created some individual inbound programs, when foreigners come to Ukraine to learn about our culture and language. We are still looking for new opportunities for our programs: new counties, new programs and new ideas always welcome!
