The cavitation phenomenon is known in science and technology for more that hundred years. English scientist Reynold was the first to discover this phenomenon in 1894 on the English torpedo boats. "Kavitus" means "cavity" from Latin. Cavitation differs from usual boiling that with the increase of a relative flow speed regarding body the flow pressure lowers to the saturated steam pressure (vacuum). The liquid boils at the same time and cavitational steam-to-gas bulbs of micro size are formed. Cavitational bulbs reaching the pressure space collapse (close, condensate) into dots by means of cumulative squirts. In these dots which are numerous the cumulative effects lead to dotty increase in pressure up to thousands of atmospheres with the formation of dotty temperatures of tens of thousands Kelvin degrees. Besides, a sudden vanishing of cavitational bulbs leads to hydraulic shock formation and as a result of it to creation of pressure and tensile wave in a liquid with ultrasound frequency. If the blast wave meets an obstacle it destroys its surface. Cavitational bulbs are quite a few and their closing is done thousands of times a second therefore cavitation may lead to significant destructions. The energy of collapsing bulbs is used for blast wave radiation, for local gas heating which are contained in compressing cavitational areas, for sonoluminescence excitation, for free radicals formation and for creation of noise. Combined influence of cumulative squirts, hydrodynamic shocks and ultrasound field leads to: - sterilization of a liquid processed; - emulsification of the products not usually mixed (black oil, water); - disruption of long polymer chains in mineral oils, their transition into a new structural condition; - size reduction (dispersion) to micron level of solid particles in a liquid; - homogenization of a work product; - intensification of chemical reactions into tens and even thousand times; - etc. As a result of many years of work of the specialists and researchers of our company we managed to apply the cavitation phenomenon in the right direction. We have built the equipment of several modifications which can be used in various technological processes. MAIN | PRODUCTS | SERVICE | OUR CLIENTS | OUR PARTNERS | COMPANY | CONTACTS | SEARCH
