The design concept of the stylish and elegant VIP interior was developed a year before, and manufacturing and installation of the interior were completed in 2002. VIP aviation sets certain rules and standards for design and manufacturing of VIP interiors of commercial, corporate and private aircraft. Passenger cabins of VIP aircraft must satisfy all VIP passengers' requirements, respond to their aesthetical preferences, be completed with construction elements that make the flight safer and more comfortable, and contribute to productive work and relaxing rest of people on board. Having extensive experience in aircraft interiors design and development, and VIP aircraft interiors in particular, InterAMI Interior implemented these ideas into a masterpiece of VIP aircraft interior. Decorative detailing of the interior, unique finishing materials, and impeccably chosen accents all work together to set a new standard of comfort for aircraft owners. The passenger cabin of Yak-40 aircraft is divided into several functional zones - a VIP passenger cabin, a cabin for accompanying persons, and a lavatory service unit combined with a luggage compartment. Partition walls separate each functional zone, and the wave-shaped crew compartment partition also accommodates a multimedia center. The silver birch veneer finish adds an exquisite natural edge to the partition walls. The multimedia center installed in the front partition wall is truly versatile due to the combination of two DVD players and a VCR, which are supplemented with a plasma 18-inch monitor, high-quality subwoofer sound system and a spacious compartment for video tapes and disks. The seat of a main VIP-passenger is on the left giving a vantage point on the multimedia center. The fixed table for two persons and a satellite telephone within easy reach ensure convenience of working and communication. The right side of the airplane is fitted with a couch for three passengers and an elegant bar with a sliding chest. Each passenger seat is equipped with a folding table, individual lighting and ventilation system, headphones with active noise abatement system, and individual remote controls for multimedia center and lighting. Also, all VIP armchairs are provided with ashtrays and cup holders decorated with 24-carat gold plates. Armchairs installed against the aircraft motion have additional 8-inch monitors mounted on sliding rotating supports. The service block of Yak-40 aircraft provides two additional armchairs for flight attendants and accompanying persons and is divided from the VIP cabin with a partition wall. The kitchen block is fully equipped with household appliances, containers for storing food supplies and utensils, ice container and drawers for towels and napkin, and a telephone. The lavatory is located at the tail end of the aircraft.
