[news.php] www.interami.com www.interior.interami.com www.an74.com www.l410.com www.yak40.com www.yak42.com The program of An-140 operational support is based upon the following: close working relations with the designers and developers of the aircraft (ANTC Antonov) and purchased aircraft parts; close working relations with the suppliers of the purchased aircraft parts; trained and certified KSAMC personnel; certified quality assurance system adopted by KSAMC; complete certified KSAMC manufacturing facilities for aircraft assemblies and spare parts for them; complete certified KSAMC lab facilities for research and analysis of efficiency of the purchased aircraft parts and materials used for aircraft manufacturing; certified KSAMC training center for flight officers of aircraft operators. Technical Support and Maintenance of the Aircraft The strategy of An-140 technical support and maintenance is based on providing: maximum flight hours of the aircraft; minimum aircraft downtime due to technical problems; increased reliability of the aircraft and all its systems; maximum satisfaction of customer demands and requirements to aircraft operation; consistent improvement of flight characteristics and operational capabilities of the aircraft; The current system of technical support is directed at: application of the "on condition maintenance" method, which allows operating the aircraft without scheduled and preventive repairs or major overhauls as specified in the declared resource; application of the "nonstop maintenance" method which implies servicing the aircraft during the scheduled and forced downtime (due to weather conditions, flight schedules, etc.) thus reducing the durability of scheduled routine maintenance procedures. The strategy of technical support is implemented through: recording the running time of the aircraft and its aggregates; analyzing the aircraft systems, units and components failures; taking appropriate measures upon every failure that causes additional aircraft downtime analyzing all the aircraft components reliability examining comments and propositions of the aircraft operators aiming at their realization in the shortest possible time providing technical support on-site for aircraft operators studying and analyzing up-to-date methods and tools of the aircraft support in operation After-sale technical support and maintenance consists of: servicing the aircraft during the warranty period; providing technical support to aircraft operators in the post-warranty period. During the warranty period KSAMC provides warranty servicing according to the after-sales warranty policy as agreed with an aircraft operator. During the post-warranty period technical servicing and technical support is provided on the basis of the agreement with an aircraft operator. KSAMC provides a team of experts consisting of: airframe expert; power unit expert; electronics and radio navigation equipment expert. KSAMC provides operational and periodic aircraft servicing and flight data interpretation services. To ensure the nonstop operation of An-140, KSAMC guarantees aircraft repairs and fixes within the shortest time frame possible. The new program of technical support and maintenance has the following provisions: 1. Fixing minor defect that do not affect flight safety. These are: replacement of KSAMC-manufactured parts; restoring of paint-and-lacquer coating. These defects are fixed by KSAMC on location within 24 hours. 2. Fixing medium defects that do affect flight safety. These failures are: replacement of aircraft power unit, props, etc.; replacement of purchased aircraft parts. These defects are fixed by KSAMC on location within 48 hours. 3. Major failures that do affect flight safety. There failures are: engine replacement; fuselage repairs. These problems are fixed at KSAMC facilities, by KSAMC together with the representatives of the aircraft developer and Independent Committee, within 72 hours. Principles of the An-140 aircraft maintenance are laid out and regulated by standard documentation concerning that aircraft (PE, PO1, PO2), and MAK Aviaregister of the corresponding states and countries. For Ukraine : - APU-145 Certification for the organizations, performing civil aircraft maintenance. State structure: the State Department of Aviation Transport of Ukraine (Ukraviatrans). For Russia : - AP-145 Repair enterprises. State structure: Interstate Aviation Committee Aviaregister (AR MAK). FAR-145 Aircraft Repair. Requirements and certification. State structure: State Civil Aviation Service (GSGA). For foreign countries : - FAR-145 (USA), JAR-145 (Europe). State structure: aviation authorities of the states registering aircraft and operators. Deliveries of Spare Parts KSAMC delivers spare parts to the operator on the terms that are specified in the agreement between KSAMC and an aircraft operator. KSAMC delivers: spare parts produced by the company; purchased parts as agreed between KSAMC and purchased parts suppliers. Modernization KSAMC provides aircraft modernization services at the aircraft operators' request according to their needs and preferences. Modernization includes only the exterior of the aircraft, layout, equipment and furnishing of the passenger cabin, and offers a choice of materials that cabin elements are made of. Creating the Maintenance Base KSAMC guarantees creating and equipping maintenance base on-site as agreed with aircraft operator. Maintenance bases are structured and equipped as specified by the aircraft operator. The basic structure and equipment, as suggested by KSAMC, provides the following: ground control facilities; ground servicing facilities; ground monitoring equipment; sets of on-board and ground tools; special equipment for periodic maintenance; special equipment for operational maintenance. Apart from individual sets required for technical servicing of a single An-140 aircraft, KSAMC also offers corporate sets designed for technical servicing and maintenance of five An-140s. Flight Personnel Training and Engineering Personnel Training KSAMC provides comprehensive training programs for flight officers and technical and engineering personnel of the aircraft operator's company. The specialists are trained specifically to fly and service An-140. The specific character of the training program, the structure of the training course, the generality and objectivity of the training methodologies are certified by Ukraviatrans. The training is conducted in two stages: 1) Theoretical training provided at KSAMC training center. 2) Practice held either at KSAMC or on-site at the aircraft operator's company as agreed. Upon completing the training program, all flight officers and engineering personnel are required to go through the attestation procedures to be qualified to work on the actual aircraft. Providing Technical Documentation KSAMC provides aircraft operators with comprehensive and all-inclusive sets of operational and technical documentation on all systems, aggregates and equipment of An-140. Besides, aircraft operators are provided with complete documentation on purchased aircraft parts as agreed between KSAMC and purchased aircraft parts developers. Creating and Equipping Purchased Parts Bases In order to ensure nonstop technical support of the aircraft in operation and provide prompt supply of spare parts, KSAMC have introduced the concept of "purchased parts base". KSAMC undertakes to create, set up and equip such bases. Purchased parts base is an integrated one-stop service center created for technical support and maintenance of An-140 aircraft. On the basis of the agreement between KSAMC and purchased parts developers and suppliers, Purchased Parts Bases are equipped with all aircraft parts and assemblies, those produced by KSAMC and other companies. The centralized approach and availability of all aircraft parts in one location spare the aircraft operator of the problems associated with the search for purchased parts and their delivery, ensures minimum aircraft downtime and servicing time, and guarantees the maximum efficiency of aircraft operation. Regional purchased parts bases are strategically located to satisfy the needs of all An-140 aircraft operators. KSAMC guarantees the regular delivery of the purchased parts, ensures completeness of sets, and provides highly qualified technical and engineering personnel for all purchased parts bases.
