GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISE
The scientific and manufacturing company "ALTEKS" (Kiev), director Nesterenko Tatjana, Ph.D., operates on the market of Ukraine since 1993 and has license for the production of therapeutic means for veterinary, wholesale as well as retail sales of veterinary preparations and diagnostic products. The enterprise also carries out scientific researches and has scientific personnel of highly skilled doctors of sciences and Philosophy doctors (Ph.D.); it has general subject developments with scientific institutes of Ukraine and Russia for problems of biotechnology in veterinary and medicine. Since 2001 jointly with foreign firms the development of technologies for the production of veterinary preparations is being conducted at CJS "Novogaleshchyna biological factory", which investor is "Alteks" Ltd ( 67,7% of its actions).
The company prodused bioproducts for the veterinary medicine since 1930. In the year 2005 it will be 75 years since the foundation of the company.
"Alteks" principal partners are Ukrainian producers, scientific andresearch institutes, scientific and research companies of Luxemburg (R.M.-LUX), America (Synbiotics), Germany (AiM), and Ireland (Medentek), Russia etc.
The activity in the organization of production is systematically conducted under the conditions of standards DSTU. In March 2004 Novogaleshchyna biological factory obtained the certificate DSTU ISO 9001-2001. Since 2004 the product is being exported abroad.
Main trends of activity of "Alteks" and Novogaleshchyna biological factory:
development, production, realization of vaccines, diagnostic products and other means (preparations) for animals and birds;
development, production, realization of disinfectants for stock breeding and poultry raising;
development of new methods of immunodiagnostics for veterinary needs;·
development, production, realization of express tests for the detection of antibiotics, including chloramphenicol in food products;
agricultural activity.
Today we propose the preparations of our production:
vaccine against trichophytosis of cattle;
vaccine against dermatomycosis (trichophytosis and microsporum) of dogs and cats;
vaccine against dermatomycosis (trichophytosis and microsporum) of horses;
vaccine against leptospirosis of animals I variant;
vaccine against leptospirosis of animals II variant;
vaccine against leptospirosis monovalent;
antirabies cultural lyophilized vaccine from the strain TC -80;
antirabies inactivated vaccine cultural adsorbed (Rabisin);
Dorogov antiseptic stimulator (ASD-2, ASD-3;
liniment for treatment of long unhealing wounds, necrobacteriosis);
colloidal hydroxide of aluminum 6-7%;
native preservatives-free blood serum of cattle;
diagnostic antirabies fluorescent immunoglobulin (DAFI);
vaccine against viral haemorrhagic disease of rabbits;
vaccine against myxomatosis of rabbits.
During the last two years "ALTEKS" LTD and Novogaleshchyna biological factory takes active part in exhibitions and conferences (AGRO, Kiev; GOLDEN AUTUMN, Moscow; conference in White church, Ternopol, Kharkov, Odessa; the international conference on poultry raising, Alushta; international exhibition in Hanover- 2004; international conference "biotechnology and business" - 2003, Moscow).
