Odessa Chen : Updates

[index.php] September 22nd 2006: The record is done and just awaiting...maybe a record label?....maybe my own funds to put it out? stay tuned... August 6th 2006: Went to see the great Jason Molina last night (formerly of Songs:Ohia) an now Magnolia Electric Company. Made some silly nervous conversation, oh well. If you all get a chance to pick it up, he has great records. Some favorites : Axxess and Ace & The Lioness. July 20th 2006: The new record The Ballad of Paper Ships featuring Nels Cline (Wilco and Nels Cline Singers) and Danny Grody from Tarentel as well as Devin Hoff and Rich Douthit, is mixed and will be mastered in August. We are currently on the lookout for a possible label, but plan to release the record regardless. Should be just a few more months. Thanks so much for all your patience! Odessa April 20th 2006: Back from the retreat. words can't explain how beautiful and how productive. I have finished my tracking for the second record and have just mixing, mastering, and cd production to do. What a joy and a relief. Also, I finished a new batch of eight songs for record number three. And I'm working on getting a new and improved version of this website up.
