It is useful when Proxy Authentication is not enabled. Sometimes BorderManager cannot determine the user name. There are a lot of causes for that. For example, the user tries to go to Internet without authentification. Therefore you can see the following picture on the main window: Here the administrator has prohibited Internet access for the user with IP address of 172.16.4.38. But this user has established an ICQ client that constantly tried to get log in to the ICQ server. BorderManager prohibits this access but shows the access attempts in its log. So you see only "-" in the "Users" column. After execution of this command: The defined NDS names always begin with "!". In this way you can see which names are coming from proxy authentication and which names result from using the Define Name feature. Requirements for this mode: Windows 2000/XP/2003. In Windows 9x/NT you can define NDS names only if the users have IP connections at one of your NetWare servers. Your users must be logged into an NDS tree that you are also logged into. You must have license connections on all your NDS servers in all your NDS trees. Before the first start of this operation you must create the server list, see the section "Define Name options" in HELP for detail information about operations of forming this list. This command works only for already existing records in the database. For new records you have to run the command again 21.09.2006 We're starting to test the new program RTMNSM - RTMonitor for Astaro Read more 07.09.2006 New version of UserKVYMonitor - 1.4.3!
