The emphasis was made on strong last-year students with good technical English, strong IT background and ability to study hard. If you reside in Kiev (or Ukraine and ready to relocate), ready to work full time, and have 2-5 years of professional experience with object oriented programming (for example C++), you could join our internal Java training program. Please be aware that only the best candidates will be selected. Successful candidates should have strong IT-background and good intermediate or above level of English (both spoken and written), and show himself as a gifted person with a proven ability to study intensively and work hard in the future. Software Testers Historical Overview Back in December 2004 we've initiated a training program to satisfy growing demands in qualified IT specialists, especially Software Testers. It prooved to be highly successful, allowing our company to triple its Software Testing department ofer the year and solve staffing issue completely. Next step was sharing our experience and expertize with the rest of the market by setting up joint training facility with major educational center. Kiev Politecnical Institute gladly joined the initiative. University-based Trainings Bonus Technology has launched joint Software Testing training center initiative with leading Ukrainian university - Kiev Polytechnic Institute . Bonus Technology will share its experience and training programs which are used for internal corporate trainings with KPI which in turn will provide its best students with unique opportunity to obtain skills and experience critical for development of quality software. Historically our universities paid little attention to Quality Assurance and Software Testing discipline while it is the key element in the software development chain today. In USSR it was part of software engineering with little specialization, so usually developer tested his own code, while western companies in mid-80s separated this responsibility and heavily used independent software testing teams, which proved to be highly effective. These days software testing became full-scale discipline. It is also very interesting job. Mission of software tester is to fight for the quality of software and client satisfaction as a result. Currently we work on adaptation of our programs to requirements and schedule of the university and will launch the first group in Jan 2006. Program duration will be 4 month after which best students will have an opportunity to join our company. On-site Internship Program We invite everybody with NO WORKING EXPERIENCE but with strong IT background and technical English to apply and to be selected to join our company as Intern. Prior completion of 3-month training program with KPI is a plus but not mandatory. How to Apply After initial selection procedure (application, interview, tests (English, IT knowledge, etc.), preliminary self-training), you are supposed to sign a contract and study for about a month. If the results you achieve during the course are good enough, we will invite you to join Source Valley teams as a Junior Tester in our Kyiv office.
