Contact us by e-mail: mojsey@rambler.ru "INCARDINATION" INTO THE UKRAINIAN AUTOCEPHALOUS ORTHODOX CHURCH All people desirous of joining us, or requiring any information, should contact the Primate direct by e-mail: mojsey@rambler.ru or metropolit_moisey@ua.fm or t.# -(044) 570-9797 or 8-050-512-4556 in Ukraine Alternatively, they should send a letter requesting Incardination into the Church under the Omophor of His Beatitude Moses-Moisey, Archbishop-Primate of the UAOC, + Those already ordained: - Send a letter officially asking for Incardination into this Jurisdiction, which at the same time renouncing any preceding ecclesiastical jurisdictions. - The letter should contain all ordination documents, and a statement regarding the Apostolic Succession of the Church concerned. - Also, all documents relative to the theological studies undertaken. Once these documents have been studied and, if necessary, a meeting with the Primate, his Coadjutor, or a representative has been undertaken, the response of the Hierarchy will be given in writing. Adhesion to the faith of the Holy Orthodox Church, to the Holy Scriptures, Apostolic canons, first Seven ecumenical Councils canons which in harmony with teaching of Jesus Christ and Apostles, is absolutely ecessary before presenting a request for incardination. + Those not ordained, but having a sincere vocation: A true desire to serve Our Savior Jesus Christ in the bosom of the Church is given by the Grace of God, and the Church supports this wherever possible. We advise such people firstly to make contact with the Deacons and Priests living close to them in order to enter into a dialogue to test such a vocation. After such necessary time for reflection, aided by members of the clergy, the postulant will be ordained Reader before beginning to serve Our Lord actively within His Church. It is important to note that ordination to Sub-Deacon, Deacon, or Priest, is at the behest of the community, in accordance with the canons of the Church of Jesus Christ. It goes without saying that theological studies are required even after the Primate and the Holy Synod have taken an initial decision regarding the vocation.
