The Matiola Firm, established in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1993 is engaged into production and sale of exclusive textile articles of a wide variety decorated with hand embroidery, hem-stitch, knitting and cut-work. The firm's craftsmen develop layout of an article and embroidery designs taking into account style and requirements of buyers or customers. All articles are made in a single copy, as each embroideress has a unique vision of a composition and colour scheme of each flower and each petal of predetermined design. It is like artist's hand putting strokes on a canvas. Embroideress' work is even more delicate, as an embroidery is made with one "moulinet" thread, and the style of an artist and her vision of flower's beauty and the composition as a whole is unique. A high class satin-stitch embroidery is made through such craftswoman's inspiration and her specific desire to embroider. It has been noticed that an embroidery is a success when kind people do it, and it is never boring seen in a dwelling interior or on garments, seeing it invokes an increasing feeling of contacting beauty. Embroidery in cross can be easily repeated and after a number of years does not evokes an anxious feeling of delight. All our articles are embroided on 100% flax or cotton, but they may also be embroided on other fabrics. The threads of embroidery are moulinet. The articles may sustain machine washing under the high temperature (up to 95 degrees С). It is not recommended to use chlorine-containing components for washing, as the colour of threads will lose the designated colour. Terms of purchase or order: Taking into consideration specifics of our work, the most appropriate way of making an order or purchase of the articles is a personal contact with a buyer, consideration of a concrete size and look, details of design and colour, decoration solutions, additional treatment etc. Therefore, we advice you to inform us about your order, its peculiarities and you requirements having filled the contact sheet of this site. One has to remember, that we are capable to produce embroidery work on various fabrics, including work using your own designs, but in case of a tailor-made order, in contrast to a ready-made article, its price will be higher. Doing so, it is necessary to use as tentative the production time for similar articles. The terms of payment shall be an advance payment for 50% or total amount of the respective order in any form, including "Visa" and "Mastercard". When buying ready-articles for cash, a 5% to 15% discount may be provided. The payment is effected in hryvnias under the current rate of the National Bank of Ukraine. It is possible to mail articles within the boundaries of the CIS countries with payment for mail services and remaining part of the amount using cash on delivery scheme. In Kyiv the articles are delivered and the orders are taken at the customer's location for free.
