Working as a travel photographer I have travelled all over the world and have visited some of the most famous, exotic and exciting places on earth. One City that continues to draw me back is Kiev. According to the legend recorded by Nestor the Chronicler, a city was founded by three brothers Kyi, Shchek and Horyv and their sister Lybid on the right bank of the Dnipro River. It was named Kiev in honour of the eldest brother, Kyi. The people of Kiev love and cherish the history of their city. It is home to some of the most magnificent architecture in Europe and yet it retains a naivety and an innocence that is so appealing. It is a city of priceless monuments and great culture, a city of big events and outstanding people. If you get a chance to visit Kiev - Don't hesitate - - Go there - It is a wonderful City I decided to place my pictures on this website without any explanation. I hope they will tell their own story and give you some sense of this magical city. If they do - that would be reward enough for me.
