The State Company for Export and Import of Military and Special Products and Services is the only organisation authorised by the Ukrainian Government to implement export potential of the military industrial complex of the Ukraine. During the time of its existence the UKRSPETSEXPORT has arranged export-import deliveries of military and special equipment, weapon and rendering services to more than 30 countries of the world, but the scope of deliveries and the range of products is still far from actual possibilities of the Military and Industrial Complex MIC of the country.

On the 26th of March 2002 there was held a press-conference of the Head of The Committee On The Issues of Military-Technical Cooperation at the President of Ukraine Mr. L.M. Rozen, the Head of The State Service Of Export Control Mr. O.S. Legeida and the First Deputy Director General of the State Company "Ukrspetsexport" Mr. V.P. Korenkov who disproved accusations of probable involvement of Ukraine into illicit supply of arms and military technique to Iraq. It should be stressed upon that such groundless accusations of Ukraine in the arms sales to so called "problematic" states have being systematically, for several years, given publicity by some foreign as well as national mass media. They are most actively spread on the eve of significant political events in our country. More than once the author of publications was a Petro Lutiy, who in fact is an ex-secret service officer of the former Committee On State Security of the USSR Yuriy Shvets, who in 1993 fled from Russia to the United States. In his publication at "Criminal Ukraine" web-site dated 11th of April this year Mr. "Petro Lutiy" again and again tries to accuse Ukraine of violating international obligations. In this regard we once more emphasize that for all the period of Ukraine's existence as an independent state, "Kolchuga" complex (automatic passive station for radio-electronic environmental monitoring with large range of coverage) three units in number were supplied to a state against which there are no international limiting sanctions. At the same time it is known that at the soviet times "Kolchuga" complexes were exported to different countries of the world. At the same time "Ukrspetsexport" Company is thankful for a kind of non-traditional advertising of "Kolchuga" complex that will promote increase of inquiry for the mentioned production of the national military-industrial complex.
