Intelligent Document Processing applies AI and machine learning techniques to enable technology to read and process content in documents like a human. While incoming business data arrives from a variety of sources—email and attachments, digital documents (e.g., PDF), faxes, paper scan images, etc.—IDP provides a time-saving, error-reducing results to ensure that the data from those document sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) is automatically processed quicky and accurately.

No. While IDP does incorporate data capture, its capabilities are broader.
