We would like to remind you that the changes are related to the process of transformation and transfer of the National Intellectual Property Authority functions from Ukrpatent to UANIPIO due to the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 943-r "Some Issues of the National Intellectual Property Authority" dated 28 October 2022.

Starting from November 8, 2022, the entity performing the functions of the National Intellectual Property Authority is the state organization "Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations" (UANIPIO).

Dear applicants!

Due to changes in the state intellectual property system, from 00:00 on November 8, 2022, SE Ukrpatent will stop all its activities as National IP office. 

Also, from 00:00 on November 8, 2022, SE Ukrpatent will stop accepting fees for actions related to the protection of rights to intellectual property objects. Bank accounts details of UANIPIO will be made public on November 8, 2022, on this information resource.

On November 8, 2022, the ordinance of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 28, 2022, No. 943-r "Some issues of the National Intellectual Property Authority" will enter into force, by which the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO) is designated as an entity performing the functions of a National IP Authority and the performance of these functions by the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute" (Ukrpatent) is terminated.

The process of transferring National IP Authority functions from SE Ukrpatent to UANIPIO is underway. We will promptly inform you about all further actions by placing up-to-date information on this resource.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in cooperation with the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, is continuing the joint offering of the Master’s Degree Program in Intellectual Property and New Technologies.    
  
The Program offers candidates an attractive and user-friendly structure of three semesters of study from October 1, 2022 to February 28, 2024, with the first fully distance-learning semester, second-residential semester at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland and the last semester with the option of preparing a Master thesis or being involved in an internship program in a home country or in Poland.

All details regarding admission, as well as mandatory admission procedure through the Jagiellonian University ERK system and through the WIPO Academy. 
  
The Jagiellonian University ERK system is mandatory for use by candidates. The deadline for admission for 2022/2023 is August 31, 2022, but the deadline for applications for WIPO scholarships is July 22, 2022. 
    
In addition, in the 2022/2023 edition of the Program, a number of full scholarships (travel, tuition, registration, accommodation, food allowance, health insurance) are provided to candidates working for the Government, University or Research and Development Institute. An application for these scholarships should be made through the WIPO website.

The candidate should submit online: a detailed updated CV, a Motivation letter, Degree(s) and transcripts.
